Chapter 1 | Present Day (01 Lawyer's Office)

 

Natalia had been going on to the office for a few months after she received a letter telling that she needs to take care of financial paperwork her grandfathers had left her. She sat at the lawyer’s office hoping her grandfather’s lawyer could wrap things faster so she could get on with her life.

The witch sighed heavily when she knew that it could take him another session for everything to be finished.

She thought he was saying something but her thoughts were elsewhere. Like, the only good thing about this meeting is, the lawyer works in the area so she won’t fly anymore just to see the paperwork. Unlike her grandfather’s grave which was on another side of the continent just eight month’s before.

Natalia thought of how long it would take for her to travel back home to the countryside, the Sulani area.
