PROLOGUE | Fire (5)

By the time the authorities and the firefighters arrive, the facility were already engulf in red-hot fire. Every able bodied firefighter are doing their best to get out people inside and put out the fire.

Philip came running to the scene. He drove all the way from the airport for two-hours straight just to see what was happening. His chest was thudding with anxiousness that maybe something happened to his brothers but he doesn't want to think the worst.

One of the officers noticed Philip going straight to the building.

—And stopped him.

A tear and a gasp escaped Philip, and he was back to being a young boy. What he felt can't be describe by words. Loss and all other emotions overwhelmed him. His presumptions had been validated. His heart thudded so fast he forgot how to breathe.

As Philip turn he saw the camera is already on him, he gasped.

There could be no exact words that could describe the feeling of a person who just lost a loved one, and this time two of them. Philip stood before his dead brothers.

They have been together for more than three hundred years and now they're gone. Just like that. His tears were running from his eyes as he thought of what to do now that they're gone.

Another caster did this, he thought as he examined their bodies. Someone more powerful must've killed them. They wouldn't just go down that easily. He knew his brothers were one of the finest casters he knew in the supernatural world. Whoever did this must've been close to being like a god.

He checked Ross, it was the same.

At last he can't help but breakdown again. His chest were full of things he didn't know that was there. So he cried.
